Description
This language
arts course introduces literature from various regions of the world. The
foundation of this course is the belief that good communication skills –
reading, writing, speaking, and listening – as well as critical self-reflection
are essential for addressing universal issues of the human condition in the
global setting. The literature units will parallel the areas studied in Global
Geography and Cultural Aesthetics. These areas will include Asia, Europe, and
Africa. The study of reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and speaking skills
will be included in each of these units.
