Welcome!  This is the place to find out what we've done in class; what we are doing; and what we will be doing.  You will find assignments posted here as well as notifications of upcoming tests and useful hints and links to help your students learn.

My Office time is 3rd period.  The best way to reach me is via email:  <shindledecke@4j.lane.edu>  (yes, there was no room to put an "r" on the end of my name for this edress; it's not a typo.)

Equinox.....

Students handed in the vocab sheet, A2, for experiments and took a quiz.  Students were given a sheet on terms for SI Units, i.e.  "milli, centi, kilo, mega...."  There were to learn these from pico to nano, for a quiz on Monday.  Then, Monday, we will begin learning about scientific notation and significant digits.

First two weeks of Phys Sci

We've been going over rules and regs and safety.  Assignment A1 was to have the course outline signed.  A2 is the "Experiment Vocab" sheet.  We discussed hypothesis and null hypothesis today and will continue examining what science is and how does one do it properly.
